Sutton's Jewelry first opened it's doors in 1950 at a corner store in Garnett, Kansas. After attending Thompson's Watchmaking School in Kansas City, Mr. Lionel Sutton opened his first store in Garnett. Below is the wooden sign that hung outside the store in Garnett. In 1969 Mr. Sutton opened the store at 207 South Main in Ottawa.
Phil Sutton; Lionel's Son, Started as a Bench Jeweler in 1980. Along with his Wife; Cathy, they have ran the store together since 1995.
